Job Summary

Responsibilities

• To manage and deploy resources to all packing/ making/ case – packing machine with good understanding of the planning, delivery , custom, infestation and NPI process.
• To fulfill the requirement of production plan - factory supply, spot order and overseas kit set supply(conformance to plan) timely and ensure high quality standard products delivered OTIF to satisfy customers’ need.
• Ensure case packing and robot palletizing are done properly to meet factory performance target in related area such as : productivity, waste level, machine throughput, quality index, housekeeping and safety.
• To lead department improvement projects & initiatives successfully so to achieve excellent operations performance.
• To maintain the management of resources, people, system and processes such that they can link up each other with manageable conflict of interest.
• To improve and upgrade the skills and performance of one self and direct reports to achieve department objectives.
• To work closely and share/cascade information clearly and timely to the peers and subordinates that will promote cooperation among the teams.
• To utilize resources effectively and efficiently with zero non value added cost that will derive value added steps to promote continuous improvement opportunity.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder in mechanical/ industrial engineering/ any other engineering discipline or production management / supervisory management
• 5 year experience in the manufacturing environment and at least 2 yrs in the supervisory role.
• Adequate knowledge of product qualityrequirement and general factory standard such as ISO, 5S, EHS, Good manufacturing practices.
• Proficient in verbal and written English, verbal Chinese (A Plus) and one of the dialects ( Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew etc)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with all level of staff.
• PC knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Words, Access and Power point.
• SAP knowledge ( production planning module ) will be added advantage
• Adequate technical knowledge on machine maintenance and machine trouble shooting in machines will be added advantage
• Able to perform shift work and support overtime if required
• Must be able to work 12 hours rotating shifts (4 working days per week - SUNDAY is an off-day)
• Working Hrs - Morning Shift 8.00 a.m. to 8.10 p.m. Night Shift 8.00 p.m. to 8.10 a.m.
