Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and solutions to meet business requirements
• Design, develop and recommend technical solution
• Conduct system tests and commissioning
• Provide IT support to end-users for existing applications
• Support, maintain and enhance systems to meet the operation and software performance management
• Maintain architecture framework and standards, good software coding practice, software design and system documentation
• Vendor management

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
• Min 5 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of transport industry / fleet and call centre and despatch applications an added advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good understanding and management skills of SDLC
• Committed to project delivery in a fast paced environment

Technical Skills

• Sound technical knowledge of client/server and Java/J2EE environment, Web and smartphone technology
• Java programming, Object oriented design such as Mediator, Façade, Singleton, Factory etc
• J2EE technology such as JSP/Servlet, EJB, XML, JMS, Ajax
• J2EE opensource framework such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, iBatis, JSF etc
• SQA architecture and web service technology
• UML, application server such as Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle and SQL
