Responsibilities
- Brand Development - Key custodian to drive new product development and existing product improvements for the assigned soft drink brand portfolio. He/she will drive, co-ordinate and engage respective BU Marketing teams as well as Corporate R&D team to ensure that the NPD processes are adhered/complied with and project timelines are on track and met.
- Drive, co-ordinate and engage appointed agencies and BU Marketing teams (ie. Brand design, brand consultancy, research, bottle/packaging suppliers, etc) where relevant, for new/refreshing of brand IDs, brand positioning/architecture, packaging design and structural packaging development projects and ensure alignment and acceptance for timely rollout into markets.
- Liaise and engage with BU Marketing team to track brand performance (ie. Sales, market share, MEA spend, SOV, brand health, etc. where appropriate) for assigned brands/categories against budget/agreed plans and ensure that these reports (eg. Monthly Business Reviews, Annual Brand Plans, Adex Report, Nielsen Retail Audits, Brand Health Tracking Reports, etc) are updated in respective Corporate Marketing reference folders.
- Liaise and engage with BU Marketing team on brand thematic communication development to ensure that these are aligned with brand proposition/positioning. Where new brand thematic communication are developed for used across multiple markets, he/she will manage and co-ordinate working with respective BU, assigned “lead market” and appointed agency for such regional communication development projects.
- Manage, track and review regularly Corporate Marketing Non-Market Specific spend P&L for the assigned soft drink portfolio.
- Key custodian to ensure that Packaging Requisition Compliance (PRC) process for ALL new artwork/changes to existing artworks/artwork adaptations by respective BUs are documented correctly, accurately and signed off by Corporate R&D and Corporate Marketing before execution by BU.
- Key custodian to co-ordinate and engage Corporate Legal and BU on all trademark matters involving our soft drink brand portfolio across markets (eg. applications, renewals, intellectual property issues/matters, etc).
Requirements
- Degree - Majoring in Marketing
- 8-10 Years Brand/Marketing management experience in FMCG from MNC environment
- Experience in F&B (Eg Soft drinks) industry will a a PLUS
- Analytical skillset to draw from research and comsumer insights to develope and drive marketing/Brand Strategies on Brand Development, brand positioning/architecture and brand innovations; working and engaging with internal stakeholders and external agencies on alignment and implmentation.
- Hands on project management skillset and disciplines to manage and drive new product development from concept to launch, working and engaging with intervnal stakeholders and externak agencies on timely project completion and rollout into the markets.
- Experience in management market research (Both Qualitative and Auantitative) studies to develop research objectives and concepts for testing and able to analyst and draw insights from findings to develop appropriate plans
- Must have strong leadership
- A team player and must be independent
- Mature, good inter-personal, communication and presentation skills
- Good computer and digital/social media marketing skillsets (Excel, Powerpoint etc)
