Responsibilities

Finance

  • Head and drive the finance department supervising 1 Accountant and 1 Finance Executive
  • Overall in charge of HRM and Office Maintenance Administration
  • Ensure that accounts are prepared in accordance with US GAAP and Singapore FRS
  • Continual review and improvement of internal controls and enforcing such control practices on the accounting cycles, spending authorization (capital assets, unbudgeted expenditure etc) and legal review of contracts
  • Liaise with bankers, lawyers, auditors, tax agents, Company Secretary and all statutory authorities on all necessary planning, correspondence and execution to ensure the continuous operation of the company efficiently
  • Annual Budget exercise to align strategies and expenditure in meeting sales target
  • Review sales performance and providing Forecast for the rest of the year
  • Perform ratio and variance analysis on the monthly financial reports and also review of cost control on actual spending against Budget
  • Analysis of contribution statement for management decisions


Overall in-charge of HRM & Office Maintenance Administration

  • To work with the local medical insurance provider in proving an adequate and comprehensive medical benefits scheme for the staff
  • Manage the staff payroll, CPF Contribution and their year end IR8A Form
  • To ensure that all office automation equipments are maintained to perform at optimum level
  • Liaise with IT Department on all local IT implementation and installation
  • To recruit manpower with the right match of skill sets and experience for the various positions for both new vacancy and replacement
  • To provide data to and assist the Regional HR Director in developing a competitive staff compensation plan to attract and retain staff

 

 

 

 

Requirements

  • Minimum ACCA / Degree in Accountancy or Business related disciplines
  • CPA holder will be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience in a managerial position
  • Business savvy
  • Meticulous and hands on
  • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good team leader and player
  • Ability to multi task
  • Good working attitude
