Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand their upcoming plans and projects for savings opportunities and prioritizations
• Provide support to stakeholders in all sourcing activities (including negotiations with vendors) and managing existing maintenance requirements
• Explore on incumbent vendors if it offers other value-added services in addition to its core business and set up Preferred Vendors
• Managing contracts (specific areas) to ensure adherence to Contract Management Policy. Conduct cost and performance evaluation and monitoring of contracts renewals
• Achieve set targets on indirect savings and department objectives / KPIs
• Assist line manager to manage cost reduction program and new projects and initiatives

Requirements

• 'O’ level or Diploma in Supply Chain / Purchasing
• Minimum 2 years experience in procurement related function
• Independent, responsible & diligent
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels
• Immediate Starter is a PLUS
