Responsibilities
- Responsible for annual booking/revenue quota with significant growth in subsequent years.
- Develops and executes sales strategies focused on advanced technology solutions. Creates a team based demand generation plan that addresses the vertical market opportunities within commercial sector
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
- Present and sell NetApp products and services to current and potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Develop, establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Be the primary contact and internal evangelist for assigned vendor to drive businesses
- Identify potential new clients and develop new accounts via or with our partners
- Drive marketing activities and partner programs with Marketing and Channels teams to bring incremental revenue for designated vendor
- Provide pre-sales support and plan product training programs for business partners
- Build strong business partner relationships
- Meet and manage sales targets, and enhance revenue growth
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree holder with minimum 2 years’ experience working with customers in a Sales context.
- Has Product knowledge and experience in the following (preferably in IT industry (Storage).
- Understanding of Enterprise storage products.
- Technical knowledge of enterprise technology is an advantage.
- Experience in developing partnerships with major hardware/software vendors.
- Proactive and highly motivated professionals with positive attitude.
- Willingness to acquire new skills/ product knowledge.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and influential skills in a teaming environment is a must, managing customers, partners and vendor.
- Able to deliver business value to the sales operation; Pro-active and highly motivated professional with a positive attitude.
- Communication skills — Ability to develop relationships and work extensively at the executive level. Direct interaction with Partners, Marketing, Peers, and Customers will comprise a major portion of this assignment. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Clear commitment on the job role for minimum of 2 years of presales environment.
- High Adaptability – Able to fit into the team’s as well as organization structure & culture easily.
