Responsibilities

Account Payable

• Timely processing of invoices and payments; to ensure that appropriate department’s approved, accounting policies and procedures are complied with
• Ensure all invoices are matched with relevant supporting documents with approved authorization
• Prepare payment to vendors & staff claims
• File all the payment vouchers in sequence for ease of access for referral
• Assist in the monthly closing of accounts, to capture all invoices received and provide information to GL Section for accruals

 
Account Receivable
 

• Monitor, follow up and allocate collection of AR
• Clearing of AR in the system; reconcile and solve payment discrepancies
• Ensure sales reading of department stores tally with POS
• Prepare manual invoice billing to customers
• Perform banking and month end bank reconciliation
• Maintain customer master data
• Monitor AR Aging & collections

Requirements

• Diploma holder in Accounting with 1 to 2 years of work experience in General Accounts or AP/AR Function
• Comfortable to focus in Accounts Receivable function
• Experience in SAP is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in MS Excel
• Team player and able to work independently
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude & willing to learn
