Responsibilities

  • Maintain good relationship with retailers
  • Responsible for all aspects of sales function, from forecasting sales & inventory, developing & coaching field team to daily operation, promotional activities and efficient running of all retail counters. Ensure overall sales targets are met so as to achieve the brand’s overall sales objectives.
  • Propose monthly retail & net sales targets for all counters.
  • Present promotional plans to Retail Partners together with Marketing team, & ensure that promotional activities are carried out effectively at all counters.
  • Work closely with Demand Planning Team to ensure accurate product forecasting to meet sales trends and customer needs.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy inventory level & category mix in all retail outlets.
  • Participate in promotional set up for all counters.
  • Plan and allocate manpower for all promotional activities, shows, workshops etc. Work with Counter Managers to propose staff strength and establish a list of Make-up artists/Consultant for all promotional events.
  • Work at the counter with the team on all promotional events, ensure proper visual merchandising according to brand’s guidelines.
  • Assist Sales Manager to effectively control over sales expenses, returns and promotional expenses.
  • Prepare all monthly and annual sales reports & commentaries to Brand General Manager.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly reports including commission paperwork.
  • Monitors all make-up artists’ progress through monthly Productivity Reports to identify training / coaching needs.
  • Work closely with Sales Coordinator to compile all sales statistics as directed by Sales Manager on a monthly and yearly cumulative basis.

Assist Sales Manager in management of the following :

  • Budget planning processes
  • Annual Store Business Review Presentation
  • Annual Stock Take

Work closely with Trainer/Training Manager in identifying training programs for make-up artists / Counter Managers.

Ensure that Counter Managers are constantly upgraded to meet the requirements of the job.

 

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Tertiary or Diploma required.
  • Minimum of 4 years in supervisory role in sales and retail
  • Good interpersonal skills : motivational, leadership & strong communication skills
  • Numerically inclined with strong analytical skills
  • Computer literate in Excel and Word
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive and go-getter
  • Independent and reliable
