Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all the NPI and modification projects deliver the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost in compliance with relevant local legal and environmental requirements of the end-markets.
• To participate or chair the cross-functional meetings on all NPI and modification projects to communicate the project plan and schedule in a proper format, assess potential risks and agree further steps.
• Manage and ensure that the factory NPI objectives are delivered (such as NPI OTIF, lead-times, material write-offs, wastage control, project capex within budget etc.)
• To lead a cross-functional team in ensuring that all the project stakeholders are fully briefed on the planned change and gather any influencing factors that could alter the plan – building in and feeding back from/to all stakeholders.
• Lead & support project to improve NPI management process & implementation.
• Drive the management of the lead time reduction for all NPI and modification projects in order to deliver enhanced speed to market in line with customer expectations. Whilst ensuring that it is sustainable to the factory as business as usual.
• Actively seek continuous improvement in the department, taking best practice ideas from within Company and externally.
• Actively seek to identify areas where cost and time savings might be made by seeking better utilisation of corporate assets and knowledge.
• Challenge status quo through constructive proposals utilizing new ways of working or approaches.

Requirements

• Degree holder in mechanical/ industrial engineering/ any other engineering discipline.
• Ability to lead and manage a diverse and distributed team of stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of leading teams to success in varied and challenging environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with confidence with employees at all levels.
• Good project management skills.
