Responsibilities

  • Perform full Recruitment process for retail staffs (includes Job Posting, Phone Screening for Shortlisting, Liaising with Recruitment Agencies, Scheduling and Coordinating Interviews, Preparation of Employment Contracts)
  • Work closely with Business Unit to fulfill their Manpower and Recruitment Needs
  • Manage Work Pass Applications/Renewal/Cancellation for Retail Staffs
  • Facilitate Employee Exit Interviews for Retails Staffs
  • Monthly update and maintain all employee leave records in HR system (Timesoftware) and ensure accurate data is up to date
  • Administration of Insurance Claim (e.g submission of claims and follow ups on claim status)
  • Ensure that all recruitment process, policies and procedures of the Company are adhered to Employment Act and any other government legislatives
  • Prepare Recruitment related schedule and reports (e.g Headcount and Hiring Status Report, Costs Allocation Report for work passes application and renewal)
  • Assist in coordination of other HR related activities (when team member in-charge not around)
  • Support bi-monthly payroll processing for full/part time retail staffs ( > 250 headcounts)
  • Perform timesheet calculation/verification and ensure that payroll is processed timely and accurately

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level 
  • Min 1-2 year relevant experience in HR (especially in Recruitment)
  • Preferred experience in using Time software and SAP payroll software
  • Possess high level of integrity in handling confidential information
  • Conversant with statutory Employment Act and HR practice
  • Stay current on statutory and labor market changes and trends
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Meticulous, independent, has initiative, and willing to be “hands-on” when required
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency, able to prioritize and meet deadlines, and able to work beyond contractual work hours when required
  • Able to work autonomously and be a dedicated team player in a fast paced and dynamic environment
