Responsibilities
- Assist in the facilitation of the core training modules including Basic trainings, Seasonal trainings, and various follow-up trainings.
- Participate in various developmental trainings and propose innovative ideas and concepts per respective regions.
- Assess the effectiveness of the training initiatives through the evaluation of the Artists on regular basis to identify coaching opportunities through regular feedback and reporting, and
- conduct strategic follow up coaching to ensure successful roll out of training initiative.
- Keep track on region’s trends and customer profile to develop and accommodate training methods to improve the standard of How To artistry skills of Artist, and prepare more effective trainings to improve business performance and customer service
- Collaborate with Account Coordinators and Area Sales Manager to develop in-store trainings for new products and provide support for theme days/counter events.
- Participate in counter events if necessary, or any projects assigns by the Regional Director or Regional Education Manager
- Provide selling tips, link-selling skills and cultural differences per respective regions for new and existing products to enhance sales performance.
- Monitor competitors’ new products to provide more updated comparison information.
- Ensure consistency in the customer experience through the execution of the Artist Certification Programme, following target guidelines issued by Global Education.
- To sell our product range and achieve retail sales targets set by the company through the Retail Operations Manager.
- Support and develop Artists to ensure that they have the skills required to successfully achieve brand KPI’s as outlined by Brand Manager/Retail Operations Manager and/or Education Manager/Regional Manager.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in beauty (skincare & makeup) is a must
- Minimum 2 years of training experiences, and/or 3 years prior experience within the cosmetics or travel retail industry is a plus
- Have a passion for selling luxury brands and delivering high-touch services with the understanding in retail business and market with excellent customer service skills and standards
- Great communication skills in English (both written and oral) is a must.
- Great presentation skills and organized in instructional training
- A self-motivator who is passionate, energetic with the ability to motivate and energize others
- An excellent team player with great interpersonal skills
- Resourceful, flexible, well organized, highly disciplined with the ability to multi task and stability to handle stressful and demanding situation
- Expected to spend 80% of the time coaching in the field
- Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time between Singapore and Malaysia (Langkawi and any possible new cities as assigned along with expansion), as well as internationally for training seminars and conference.
