Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Screening, interviewing, hiring, and training café staff
• Managing café staff’s work schedules
• Ensuring that daily sales/production goals are met.
• Count cash at the end of shift and manage bank deposits.
• Conducting regular inspections of the café front counter and kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
• Delegating tasks to café staff and supervising their performance.
• Provide guidance and feedback to staff when needed.
• Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and ordering food supplies, as needed.
• Coordinate the daily operations during a shift.
• In-charge of maintaining high productivity and a consistently positive customer experience.
• Follow up closely on café equipment and premise maintenance program ( Daily, weekly, Monthly )
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Café Manager.

Requirements

• Proven 2-3 years experience as a Café Supervisor or relevant role in a café / restaurant environment.
• Good organizational and team management skills and experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to work different shifts including weekends.
• A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism.
• Team Management abilities.
• With a heart to serve and enjoy working in a Food and Beverage environment.
• Have attended Basic Food Hygiene Course is a Plus
