Responsibilities
Retail Planning – Supply Chain
- Lead sales and demand forecasting and planning
- Drive and improve all supply chain KPIs relevant to stores to maximise commercial performance
- Lead decision making with regards to shipping and supply planning execution
- Responsible for seamless execution of core, campaign, and animation order management (retail and FOC)
- Lead the development and implementation of new capabilities, service models and value-added supply chain services that will improve the product fulfilment and inventory turn.
- Lead the team in identifying and implementing continuous process improvement opportunities
- Lead and influence end to end supply chain processes from planning, inbound and outbound delivery, distribution, transportation services, inventory planning and systems.
- Support development and implementation of omnichannel capabilities through enhancement of planning systems and processes
- Key point of contact and escalation for SG Supply Chain related matters for different cross functional teams supporting the stores network.
- Budgeting
Retail Planning – Commercial
- Accountable for establishing clear, incisive reporting frameworks to provide business insight and to support strategic planning and decisions in collaboration with Sales team
- Support business planning and KPI setting in collaboration with cross functional teams
- Achieve commercial objectives (sell-in and sell-out)
- Forecasting
- Optimise sell-out, ensuring SISO balance
- Drive store capacity planning process for all stores
- Provide strategic actions (risks and opportunities) and recommendations based on analysis of current and future trending to drive optimise sales and profitability
- Develop team’s capabilities, analytical skills and business knowledge through coaching and on the job monitoring/training
Wholesale Distribution Channel
- Lead and manage wholesales business
- Build sustainable and mutually engaging relationships with partners and POS, conducting regular effective sales visits
Business Development
- Work in close collaboration with SG Sales team on business development opportunities and to asses commercial viability
- Follow up and exécution of business licenses and agreements (lease agreements, spa licenses, music licenses)
Frontline Team Engagement And Education
- Lead soft skills training and development in close partnership with SG Sales and Training tea
- Responsible for talent diversity, career planning, retention, and succession planning strategies
- Responsible for rewards and recognition programs including incentives in line with business objectives
- Tabulation of frontline remuneration benefits
- Own budgeting process and KPIs in relation to frontline costs, salaries, benefits and productivity efficiencies
- Other responsibilities may be added to the above, which are consistent with the title.
Requirements
- Min 5 years in retail with experience in a similar capacity
- Experience in retail operations, supply chain and logistics and frontline team engagement / education
- Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
- Digitally savvy (social media, e-learning platforms)
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a proven track record of building relationships, influencing others, and collaborating cross-functionally
- Highly adaptable in managing fast pace and rapidly fluctuating business dynamics
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
